About the Founders
Conservative Black Voices was founded by mother and daughter, Clara and Christina Mills.
Rev. Clara T. Mills is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and Virginia Union University/School of Theology. She has certificates in Pastoral Counseling from St. Elizabeths Hospital in Washington, D.C., and the Medical College of Virginia.
Ordained to Christian ministry in 1979, Rev. Clara has served as a local pastor, denominational executive, and program director. Her passions in ministry have been in the arena of social justice, preaching, and community organizing.
A long time resident of both Virginia and California, Rev. Clara resides in Missouri.
Christina V. Mills is a recent graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing.
Having tutored for a number of years, some of which under No Child Left Behind, Christina is deeply passionate about improving childhood education and continuing education for adults.
